What started as a teenage hobby of tinkering with cars and building Penny Farthings has grown into a flourishing family-run business supplying private customers and businesses across the south-east.
We specialise in a range of elegant plant supports to provide structure and impact in every season; from small, discreet ironwork for cottage gardens to rose arches, wisteria walkways, and gazebos. Let us transform your garden with gates, benches and weather vanes to your own design, or a dramatic fire bowl as a beautiful, functional centrepiece for outdoor living.
Cranbrook Iron have worked alongside local schools and councils on numerous projects. Our giant Penny Farthing, commissioned to celebrate the Tour de France passing through Sissinghurst, is now displayed at the entrance to the village.
We’re based just outside Cranbrook and you’re welcome to visit our workshop by appointment; we also exhibit at many fairs throughout the year and hold our own Makers Fair in the summer, showcasing talented craftspeople demonstrating and selling their work.
