Sail Support

So often beautiful shades and canopies are let down by the very basic supports available. We designed these spare, curved, open supports for a triangular sail and they proved very successful and unobtrusive, looking good on their own even when the shade had been removed. Thus the effort of erecting supports every time the sail is needed is eliminated; just leave these up all year round. They may be staked into lawns through the base plate with long pins, or bolted to a hard surface such as decking or flagstones, and tension of the shade is maintained by guy-ropes.
